tj hard top?

will a hard top from a 2003 rubicon fit a 2000 tj? we are getting mixed answers. I say it should but can't get a definate answer from anyone.

yes...

the only "problem" is that from '97-'02 they vented the tops on the back corners...and in '03 (I'm almost positive that was the first year) they moved the vent to the tailgate...

so, an '00 top on an '03 would be double-vented...while an '03 top on an '00 TJ would not have any vents...

but, it will fit...

it may never be a problem...but you may get excessive window fogging in cold weather a good pressure build up when you slam a door...

if you want to trade tail gates, what color is your jeep
Having the vents in both, is a PITA.
mainly it makes it more of a PITA to deal with the soft top, it doesn't do the cool blowing up thingie to make it all quiet once the blower is on.

My wife got hit when the jeep was hers, and the guy that replaced the tail gate stuck the newer one on my 98 heep.
