I am finishing up hi-lining my hood and fenders on my 99 TJ. Mostly guided by a thread on pirate:

It turned out pretty well, just looks funny with 33's (until March or so) then probably 35's. Plenty of room and only a 4in Rough Country lift.

Gain clearance without a body lift and the associated raising the center of gravity. Pretty cool.
I like the Poison Spider crusher flares. But without cutting inside, 33's can run the fender well even if they don't rub the fender.
Looks like the above approach takes care of that too.

I have one question. Am I correct in assuming that cutting to fit 35's instead of suspension lift to fit 35's results in a lower break over angle?

Fishguts, I would imagine yes to lower (not lower than already is) breakover angle, but with proper axles and gearing most are running 36's or so to gain back the height difference.

Yodaman88 - I had a bunch of rust spots (4 years of NY) and it needed to be taken care of...its not lined, just sanded and rattle canned semi-gloss black.....but depending on how it holds up to abuse, might get lined later.
