I have a 99 wrangler sahara 4.0.... The problem is that the heat just barley gets warm, just enough to knock the chill off but never gets hot. The heat hand stays at 210... Any suggestions on something I should check or what the problem may be? Thanks for any advice.

Check under passenger side of dash for small box with wires going into it. Thats the blend door actuator. Pull the screws out slide it down, switch between hot and cold and see if it moves back forth. reach up where that box was removed, grab shaft thats coming down and manually move back and forth to make sure it moves freely.
Check hoses from motor to heater core, are both hot? fi only 1 is hot, no flow through heater core.

I have a 99 tj also and im having the same problem, i have AC but it doesnt get cold, and my heat never gets warm. It always blows the same temp no matter what i change it to. ill try the things your have listed.

Same here except mine is a 2000. I don't mind it much, I just hate the complaining from anyone I drive. Is it possible there is a leak in the system? How much is that gonna cost?

Yea it doesnt bother me either, pretty much a 4wheeling vehicle for me but i would like to have it fixxed. If you get an estimate let me know what it wil lcost.

Still sounds like the blend flap to me
here is a pic i found on the web of the lever, not sure what model this one is, but you get the idea

Here is a good example of a heater system, this a YJ but gives you the idea of how it works, if the flap is stuck it not allow the change from hot to cold on the system

I have a 2000+ heater box that has some damage from an accident I'll see if the door area is still good I'd be willing to part with it or even trade for an older cable operated heater box.
