im finally looking at upgrading to a LA lift, i already have 4in SA lift on my tj. im swapping in a built hp30 and a ford 8.8. the problem is i cant decide on which upgrade kit to get i was originally goin to go for the rustys but the lack of reviews and good responses has veered me away from them. found some others like RE, Clayton, RockKrawler, and TNT. TnT seems to be the best option it does run a little higher than the RE per say but has all 8 control arms and 4 linked rear.

so the question is with keeping the cost at a decent price would the TnT be the way to go. i should be able to get by with my shocks for now, i know i will eventually have to switch with the added suspension travel. but its not goin to be seeing any serious offroad until next year. i will also be adding in the SYE and drive shaft along with a new front track bar from clayton.

i guess what im trying to do is justify my spending. between the rear end and suspension im looking at almost 4k already. then the track bar and sye and drive shaft and blah blah blah.
any help or pictures would be aprreciated

also found the rock crawler line up of upgrade kits. does any know the streetability of these as the jeep does get driven a few times a week.

I've just upgraded my xj to the RR 3link long arm kit and the TNT hp44 truss. I'm pretty impressed with the size of the arms and joints that RR now offers!, very beefy to say the least. Also the kits are very streetable. I had Chris at Marsfab weld the truss on and he did a great job. I'm probably going to have him tig up my steering too wherever I get it mocked up.

I had a clayton la on my tj for a few years. It was my dd at the time and had great manners on the street. It worked great off road even though people will say radius arms bind. Ive dealt with a lot of people over the years and I will say Adam and Walter at clayton are some of the nicest most helpful people Ive ever dealt with. Chase and Ryan at ECGS are pretty awesome to work with too and local and I believe they sell and install clayton products if you arent wanting to tackle it yourself.

The Rock Krawler is very streetable and probably has the best components of the kits you've mentioned. There's a lifetime warranty on the parts and the bushings and joints are great, huge misalignment and no maintenance or rebuilding required. We have several vehicles with RK lifts on them with nothing but great results. I have a sale going on in the Vendors Specials section that can get you 20% off. I got away from RE due to the constant bushing replacement and joint rebuilding, it gets old real fast.
