LAME !!!

so gay

Tanner Foust is nothing special, but atleast I knew who he was, who the hell are the other 2 guys? It seems so fake, granted, Im sure the british version isn't always real, but I have watched it anytime I see its on BBC America or whatever and it cracks me up, the american attempt was pretty awful.

give it some time guys it was the first show. I don't care much about the hosts I watch it for the cars. I do think they should have had a different "BIG" star. Some of the European shows were not that great either.

Eh, it was decent, honestly the Italian is the best host and I've got no clue where he comes from?! The big goofy guy is a host from NASCAR and he was ok. It just felt too scripted, but the content is there to do well. My bet is that production costs are so high that they didn't have much left over for the actor budgets.

Love Top Gear, Didnt know about TG America. When & what channel is it on?

History Channel on sundays at 10...

It was the first show Ill give them that but from seing the "10weeks clip" alot of it is copied from Top Gear BBC. So Im not getting my hopes to high....

Didn't see it so with that out there...

It may take a little time for the hosts to develop the same camaraderie as the Britt version. That said, it will be hard to stand up to the original.

granted, it MAY, find it's groove over time, but jeeze, start with some originality.

Reasonably priced car.... A Suzuki ? why not a Cruise or Focus ?

Stig ? please, he's got his own planet to live on, why not a different name or perhaps not an exact copy, and run the time lap differently ?

The Viper VS Cobra ( helo ) was ok, interesting, though I think they could have outsmarted the Cobra ( at the sake of tires at least ) if they actually tried.

the Lambo runs were kinda cool

it needs to find it's own life, and not ride the coat tails of the BBC show, those guys are a class act that will very difficult to recreate.

....and the dog has it nailed !!

The ones saying it's so lame.. ever looked back at some of the original Top Gear (BBC) shows? It's taken what.. 15(?) seasons to get TG where it is now.

Yes, Tanner's a douchebag prettyboy, but he can drive.
Adam Ferrara - I think he's funny as hell.
Rutledge Wood - Not sure yet.

And though I hate saying it, watching cars drive the fast lines is not entertainment to 95% of the viewing public. Lurid tire smoking powerslides, however, are.

Anything other than Trucks! is OK by me..

Rich You're right, TG-BBC has had 15 years to become what it is. But you'd think the American version would be able to pick up and carry on from the Brit version.

I guess the thing the Brit version has for me, is their humor. Jeremy is just too damn funny! James and Richard are funny too, but Jeremy is definitely the front man.

just the same, best of luck to TG USA.

i kept thinking they were just gonna silmucast the brit version with us, and i was excited...since we're like, 3 seasons behind them on our BBC channel.....but the us version SUCKS. it's as bad as anything on reality tv

that the problem I have with the show, they did nothing to separate themselves and make it their own show.

The hosts, it'll take some time for them to get their groove, I'm ok with that.

Star in a reasonably priced car? The Stig ? come on, there wasn't anyone with an original thought when they pitched this ?

I was quite disappointed when they announced " The Stig" as their secret driver.

I guess a new show with originality is out of the question.

was wondering how long it was gonna take for someone to catch that
