Reaching the back of my Cummins would be a heck of a lot easier if I could fly above it. Anybody got a topside creeper and wanna share your thoughts? Love it? Hate it? I’m looking at the Traxion NXT 3-200 or 3-106 Economy, but would love some actual feedback on what’s useful and important. Should I just make one out of an old creeper? I see Snap On has one for $3100, should I just buy once and cry once?

I had one - I bought the "full length" style - which worked, but left me laying on my fat gut which took my breath away.
But for working on stuff it was great. But when it wasnt actively used it was bulky and another thing always in the way. Sold it for way too cheap to someone on here when we moved.

Pretty sure it was @Jody Treadway who had a quite pimp one tat I envied once but was far too cheap of a bastid to spend the coin

Yeah, I'm looking at the fold flat ones since it'll be unused for long periods of time.

Got mine used off marketplace for around $80. It's great for working on the engine bay of our trucks but mine doesn't fold up, so it just takes up space 90% of the time. I couldn't justify the cost for the fold up style.

Just jb weld the piston and put the head back on

Big truck problems I guess.

Somehow I've never had this come up working on old Rustotas.
I just need something for tetanus protection

A 6cyl Cummins is probably twice as long as a V6 Toyota. Also, with the truck being a 5500, there are like 17 different coolers and radiators in front of the engine, and a fan the size of a tugboat propeller.

You could always just build one, or make a none folding one a folding one.
