my engine is leaking oil from everywhere around the heads, will a gasket kit fix it?

Where does it start? Oil won't flow up hill so the highest point is where it starts. Try tightening down the valve cover bolts. If they're tight you may (only) need valve cover gaskets.

A 3.4 swap will fix it.

oil leak
spray some engine cleaner on it, get it clean then you should be able to tell where its coming from, it may be the front main seal, and the fan blowing it all over everything..

Like he said, I know thats not the answer yer lookin for , but unfortunately toyota had a lot of problems out of the 3.0 heads not being torqued right. I'm bettin a head gasket kit is in yer future. Done several myself, not that hard. Good luck

a 4.3 swap will fix it better...
I had a 95 P/U with that engine. One thing I ran into is that after you get it vertical for a long period the covers will leak bad. They are plastic and do not seal good. I had to put new gaskets on regularly when I wheeled it hard. Also if you ever replace the water pump use the factory Aisin to replace or will run Hot!
