My 97 4runner has 3.4 v6 5spd and is 4wd with 255000. Bought it in February and have driven daily since.
Often when warm it would take a little longer to fire. Say 1 second when cold and 4 seconds when the engine was warm but hadn't just been running.
Well fast forward to this week and the hot weather and it is taking considerably longer to fire, probably around 5-10 seconds when engine is cold unless the truck was just shut down.
Any suggestions on where to start given the symptoms? Need any further testing to give advice just let me know and I'll do it as soon as I can and report back. Thank you.
