any vendors near the Ashville or Hendersonville area sell or care a Toyota front axle service kit or a knuckle service kit. Finaly found a axle and want to start the rebuild on it

I hear good and bad about there stuff. I've never used any of it just what you see on the outerweb and then who knows if it's true or not. The outerweb is full of them from marlin, all pro, low range of road the list goes on. Just want a good one cause it will see split duty between woods and daily driver

I've bought 2 pair of TG inner axle seals for different trucks. The trail safe ones. It's a good product. Unless you are starting from scratch, I would just get those and the wiper seals/ felts, 2 cans of brake cleaner, and a good grease. And CLEAN EVERYTHING.

I just bought the trail gear kit from 4wheel parts. They had the cheapest price and free shipping over $75, so I added the 54mm socket.

I regret not getting the kit with the wheel bearings as my bearing races have started pitting.

We stock these kits and we use the Yukon kits now as they use Nachi bearings not the no name ones in the TG kit. They also come with the good seals. I'm sure we are competitive with 4wp. promo code NC4x4 gets you free shipping online.

That's good to know. I would much rather do business with at local company!

The axle shaft seals that come from parts store or come in the cheap "kits" are garbage , but they are cheap.

Go with marlin eco-seals or trail gear's "trail safe" or whatever they are called , for the shaft seals . Summit sells trail-gear , so you can have shipped to you in a day or two . I cant offer an opinion on the yukon kits , but I agree buy local when possible .

Spend the extra money and get good seals , toyota axles are already messy and leak prone , dont make it worse .

Saving $50 wont be worth it , when your resealing the front axle in 18 months , I should know , I made that mistake twice .

I'd go w ECGS, you will have it the next day most likely. Stuff arrives so fast from them it is mind boggling.

Good seals like Eco seals are worth it and the trail smear wipers are great.
