Saw this guy on a ride this past weekend have his engine die and it wouldn't start again without pouring fuel directly into the engine (and yes, we checked the fuel pump and it was operating fine) or putting your hand on the top of the carb and cutting off most of the air going into the carb to richen it up. The thought was that something inside the carb gave way totally screwing up the fuel mixture &/or delivery. To get it to run just good enough to get back to the trailer...this invention was created!! Awesome redneck engineering!!! It worked fairly well.
