Toyota cut and turn

Anybody on here familiar with this?

My fear is cutting too deep and trashing the housing. At about 1/4" deep and cannot get it to budge with a big breaker bar and hammer. Figured u would step back and take a few to get my :poop: together before I fawk something up.

Did I cut too outboard or not deep enough?

I would greatly appreciate any input...

I tried w a propane torch, but I assume not enough or I just suck. My oxygen is empty in my tanks. I had a 2' cheater on it beating w a sledge and not the slightest movement.

The info on where to cut is cryptic in the interwebz. I would assume cutting the weld would work, but one read looked like 3/8" inboard of the weld is correct.

I'm just tired and frustrated.
 
There appears to be a seam to the right of where you cut. It could just be the edge of the weld though.
