92 toy 4x4 xcab DD....is there anybody that can verify if you can swap the windows,seals, and related hardware from a vent window door to make it a full glass.Door frames appear to be the same but i know how appearance can be deceiving. i have 1 door (full glass,huge dent) here and i'd rather know it can be changed before i go searching for the parts for the other side. 45 min of google and yahoo and i got nothin.
I'm really tired of vent window doors after having full glass doors for years, but i couldnt pass this truck up, it was toooooo clean.
 
i cant tell you for sure and like you said looks can be deceiving, but i would think that inside the door the amount of space is the same. My brother has exact same truck as meand his have the vent windows and i have full glass. Id say disassemble both doors and see what you can figure out. My thinking is yes it will work
 
thats what i WAS gonna do, but i just wanted to see if anybody had done it or knew for sure before i take it apart.. i dont think the front window track behind the vent is replaced easily so i dont want to screw up my doors. (havent really figured out how it is attached at the top yet)
 
looking up doors fro your vehicle ( replacement doors ) on Rockauto.com, there are listings for both with and with out vent window.

this would suggest there is a differance,
how much of a differance, you'll have to figure out. could be a variation in the stamping to placement of a hole in a panel ( one much easier to duplicate then the other )
