I'm looking to get a little more droop out of the rear springs of my toyota. I realize the shackle angle has a lot to do with this, but its not bad in my opinion. What sort of negative side effects am i going to have by opening up the spring clamps a little? The front seems to flex very good for stock spings in my opinion, but the rear just isn't getting as much travel. Is this more of a weight issue in your opinion? The shocks are not limiting travel, the brake lines are getting close, but still not the problem. Just looking for a little advice. thanks for the help.

it can allow a little more axle wrap as a downside...

you can open up the clamps until they are U shaped, then run a 1/4" bolt through the top... that will allow for them to open up, but not too much.
