94 extra cab with factory tilt column…

Truck has about a 1 3/4” body lift to clear the 3.4

Everything was fine. I had it fully extended and it worked. Put in a TG ported steering box and now I’m 1/2” short. I figure I need about 1”-1.5” longer to have some slip.

Thinking about cutting it and sleeve/welding on an extension. Is the DOT going to send the ATF to shoot my dog? Is there a reason why this is going to kill busses of nuns?

I’m not a big fan of the rag joint spacer, but maybe it’s an option.

If I look at aftermarket steering shafts, where to begin?

I moved the steering box forward several inches on my Jeep, and had to extend the steering shaft. I used a piece of 1" x 0.125" wall tubing.

Outer sleeve like their saying. Works well holler at me I may have some tubing that might work or we can spin something out on the lathe real quick. FYI for steering infraction the ATF shoots a cat per bus load of nuns from out of state only.
