Toyota Tranny questions

Anyone know if it possible to run a toyota auto 4wd tranny with a dual case setup?

I don't see why not. there are adapters out there to bolt them up if I'm not mistaken.

Someone told me that the stock auto tranny/transfer case where one unit or different in some way from the standard transmissions/tcase

are you running a 4 cylinder or v6?

well there's your solution brother. give Marlin Crawler a little time and they'll get more info and pricing on their setup on the website...or you could call them. that's what I'd do though. Advance Adapters may offer a setup as well, but I'm not sure. I haven't looked into it yet. I'm running an automatic with my 4 cylinder but was considering a 5 speed swap when I get my dual case setup.

talk to miles (20"yota) i know he had to have a 4.7 case (if not a doubler)with an auto to turn 40s like he does

the V6 auto trannies and t-cases are one unit.

You would like your truck a lot more if you went with a 5 speed. Especially with a 4cyl.
