I'm putting full widths under my yota project and wanted to do hydro assist steering but didn't think a ifs yota box had enough travel for the wider axles. So question is does the ifs box have enough travel, and if not what box should I go with.. If all else fails I can go full hydro but I'd like hydro assist as the first option

They use like a longer pitman arm or something?

Ikd, I was looking at some other parts today and happen to read where it used a ifs box, see what prats are in sky's full width steer kit it may come with one.

Gm one ton tie rods high steer arms and a Pitman arm

If you are having to rebuild a toyota IFS box, drill and tap it, I would look into a Late 70's bronco or F150 box. Forward swing. With a good pump and that box alone it will steer just as easy if not better than a IFS toy box with assist. Its become more popular on the 1ton Tacoma and 3rd gen 4runner swaps recently. I would give it a shot or at least look into it before going through a toy box and having to do all the lines etc to go assist.

My setup is v8 with 40s... no assist? Idk about that

Had to any ways not got the room for factory box.
