Toy’s for Rock’s 08
Callalantee trail ride
First off-----> Thank You!!!
The 2008 Toy’s for Rock’s toy run was a huge success.
This past weekend, August the 8th 2008 over 150 people got
together at Callalantee OHV Park outside of Mountain City, Tennessee.
By 10am there were 78 trucks registered for the day of trail riding.
The list of Thanks is long!
Mr. Paul Brown stepped up and donated the use of his park for the event, thank you.
Hux-Lipford and Henson funeral homes donated canopies and money to help with
The evenings BBQ plate dinner, thank you.
The local Rotary club donated money to help with the BBQ plate dinner, thank you.
On to the BBQ plate, Team Turtle fed about 70 participants with Pulled pork, BBQ beans and potato salad.
Thank you Lisa (my wife-->Momma Turtle) for everything you did this weekend.
A very special thank you goes out to John Craven,
without his help my wife would have had a nervous breakdown by 6pm.
Those two busted their butts and got everything ready to serve by 7:30.
Thank you to the members of PLANETISUZOO and NOAS for helping out this weekend, you are all invited back for CallaZu’ V, I hope you all had fun this year.
A big thank you to CTB for using the Toy’s for Rocks event as your alternate run, thank you.
A special thanks for the BDB for coming out and putting on their usual show for the fans.

Thank you, to the BDB,CTB and others for clearing welder so my wife could drive backwards on the trail and get back to camp quicker to start cooking.
The end results of the Toy’s for Rock’s event was an entire Mini Van full of toys, with spill over going into Flo Bellamy’s pick-up.
Flo and the community center wishes to thank everyone for coming out to help “her Children”.
She was awestruck when vehicle after vehicle rolled into the parking lot.
Here is a pic of the toys today at the Community center, they are stacked on top of each other for the height(not empty boxes)
There was video and pictures taken, so there should be some good ones on the internet this week.Good pics so far.
Thank you’s going out Using the sign-in list:
