track bar question

I have a 99 WJ. Supposedly a track bar off a 91-01 XJ. A 93-00 grand cherokee and a 97-06 wrangler will fit. Can anyone confirm this ?? By that, I mean actually tried it ?

No, It absolutely will not work. The two use totally different track bars. You will need one for a WJ specifically.

Stock , no lift. I ask because Advance Auto list that the same track bar would fit all of those models.

Same part number for all of them ??? hmmm

What all this boils down to, Is that I need a track bar for my 99WJ. I was trying to find one that crosses over. and maybe pick one up that someone is selling or throwing out or pick one up cheap at the U-pull it on half price day.

well shoot, why didnt ya say so in the first place :lol:
You can have the old factory track bar from my XJ for $20. It had about 130 kmiles on it when I lifted it. Will it work on a WJ...dunno :huggy:

It will not work. Absolutely 100% sure of this. WJ's use a track bar with bushings on each end. TJ, ZJ, XJ all use A different style- 1 bushing end, 1 TRE end.

yeah bushing on both ends

I was trying to wait on sinking any real money into a track bar. because when I lift it, I would need another one for the lift.
