So, I've already built the brackets with 6" of seperation at the axle end. They are 1/4 plate that will be braced well. The anti-wrap bar is schedule 80 on the bottom link and 40 on the top. Plated gussets on it as well. I'm using yj bushings w/ 1/4 dom for the mounts. and a 3/4 by 3/4 heim at the frame.

Is 6" enough seperation? I've been reading now that I've started tacking things together that it might not be. At this point it won't be a ton of work to make it more.

Thanks
CJ

do the 2 bars come together at the top to mount to the frame in 1 place, or do they mount to the frame in 2 places?

the biggest problem ppl tend to have with traction bars is increased antisquat numbers... and this is affected by the length and frame side mounting point of the bar...

My Upper link long, it around 46" IIRC. Here is a simple pic of the layout.

6" is fine.

You're just gonna cut it off in a year or so anyway..

Mounting the heim lower (shackle in compression vs. extention) will help lower anti-squat #'s, the biggest downside to those.

I can make that change, It just fits easier like the pic is drawn. I'd make the change if its worth it though.
