Tractor backhoe

Anyone ever put the "wrong" backhoe on a tractor? I have a Kubota b7800 (30hp) w/ fel and have been wanting a backhoe for it. Finding the correct backhoe for it used and not for almost new price has been fruitless so far. A Ford 575 popped up on marketplace last week for $1500. That model was made for a Ford compact tractor of similar hp to mine. The more I look at it, I think I could modify the subframe to work on my tractor. Looks to be a pto driven unit so that's easy enough. Thoughts?


I realize backhoes aren't as great as a mini-ex. This would only be for farting around the farm, not making a living with.

Do it! 540pto is 540pto.
 
It's kinda nice to use the quick connects to run the backhoe, but it seems like it would work. Just make sure it's good and solid when you attach the subframe to the tractor!

Looking at the add last night on my phone, I thought I could see a pump. Today on my work computer it looks like it just has hoses to connect to the tractor. Mine doesn't have remotes, yet. Any recommendations on a kit? I'd need full flow to run the backhoe but normal function to run a hyd top link and other stuff.
 
If you do this please do a detailed post.... I can't decide if I'm going to try and get a mini-x or a tractor with a hoe.
