We have several brands New Holland, Long, Gehl, and Farmall/international

I am trying to cross reference and get all filter numbers up to current models and at least the same brand so i can buy at same place. I would like to stock up and have extras on the shelf.
Napa would be nice since i can buy local.

Right now its a cluster of brands and outdated model numbers, Is there a preferred brand Carquest/Napa/Donaldson/Baldwin/Fleetguard?

Depends on what you've got local. I like Baldwin and there's a place not too far away that sells them at a good price. Be careful though...there are certain applications that differ from a factory setup. My old Kubota tractor, for example, had a magnet on top of the transmission filter. None of the aftermarket ones were made to allow that to fit. On something like an Allison transmission, I'll only run their filters too. They're only 8.65 a piece and I can get them locally too. It all depends on the application.
