I was working on the tractor this weekend, YEARS ago, my father had the clevis end on the cable for the loader control break.

Fast forward a couple years, and I have the replacement parts, BUT when I go to install it, it looks like there is a cap that the cable threads into. This cap is the bolted over the hydraulic valve assembly.

In the picture, the screw driver is pointing at the duplicate part. Above it, you can see the rusted portion of the valve the clevis attaches to.

The tractor is a mahindra 2555.

Yeah you're missing the operator/part that attaches the cable to the valve body. Get the mfr and part number off the valve tag and buy the parts through them, getting parts through mahindra sucks.

That takes the slack out from the outer sheath and cable inside. If you going to attack that cable to that open spool position that's rusted you'll need that cap or a way to hold the sheath. FYI that rust on that chrome plated spool will cause a leak sooner than later.

Indeed! The dealership I called quoted me $900+ for the entire valve assembly.

I will be sure to scotchbrite the rust off and give it a good coating of lube, thanks!

I have found a couple sites that have replacement parts (generic), so I need to head back to the property, dismantle the existing cable union, grab the valve manufacturer details, and start the hunt again....unless someone on here chimes in with a quicker solution.....which would be preferable!

Anyone got any good leads on a besko distributor?

I can't find this valve PN anywhere, and google doesn't seem to point me towards anything in specific.

I am looking for a valve adapter that has an ID or roughly 20mm and overall length of 90mm. I haven't confirmed the thread pitch yet.
