Question for those that have done bearings on axles with brakes, Just replaced one of mine that was bad and in the past I always turn the nut tell it stops the movement in and out on the hub, the hub rotates free but no play.... I have always needed to put a socket or wrench on it to get it tight. this time it is fine just hand tight, if you use a wrench it will go more but if feels like a little drag is added, so I back off get movement in and out and turn nut with hand and it feals ok.
So the question is should I go with it or is there a TQ on them?
Its on a 5200 dexter axle and I have done a butt load of axles in the past, this one just feals different.... Plus It was real tight getting the nut off maybe that is why it went bad after only a few years old...
