I'm wanting an enclosed trailer

I'd say "custom" but really I'm just looking for particular specs and options.

Dove Nose Front, 7.5 FT Interior Height, 8.5x22Ft , 5,200 LB Axles with Electric Brakes.
Windows on the Side, Side Access Door at the Front, & A Door over the fenders.
Ready to accept an A/C Unit.

I got quoted by a company I found online out of Georgia for under $7K but anyone know a company to recommend talking to?

I’ve read from a few on here not to buy anything from Georgia.

You check Kaufman yet?

Yeah, I believe so. I haven't checked any.prices on their enclosed trailers, but it's worth looking in to.

I had no idea they did enclosed. Hmm redneck crawler hawler gooseneck from the factory

That's the plan, Enclosed Toy Hauler.
6Ft up front & 16Ft in the back for the Jeep when loaded.
Budget is approved for the Truck & Trailer just need to source both.

Goal is to have the trailer built in time for whatever our first ride will be in January.

I think deciding between the cheap “Georgia” trailers versus decent others like Haulmark, etc depend on your use and expectations and expected ROI.

For me, I know I’m going to change my mind every few years about what I want or need. I know I can get a cheap Georgia trailer with good brakes, tires, and axles and be just fine for a few years. Get something new then and sell my old trailer for a reasonable $.

But, if I was using the trailer daily or knew I was going to keep it for years and years, I’d splurge for a nicer/better trailer. Or, if I was converting it to partial living quarters, I’d buy a better trailer.

The cheap trailers have their place. I’d buy one knowing I’d have a few good years out of it before it falls apart and may need a couple upgrades/repairs along the way. So long as that’s the expectation and budgeted for, no issue for me.

But, if you are trying to compare the Georgia trailers with a decent trailer like Hulmark or similar, you are going to be very disappointed in quality.

Trailer will only get used 5 or 6 times a year.
My rig is still street able so I'll still be driving it to URE and Non Overnight Trips.

But I want the trailer to last as long as the the truck.
So basically this is a 5 year plan.

I don't know if they do this kind of thing but a guy I know on Off Road SC have this company build two for him. crosscountryteardrop

This sounds pretty fancy, you might have to get a new rig.

Trailers of the East Coast in Mocksville builds customs trailers. They have some nice trailers.
Do they build them? Or just sell different mfg?

I'd love to know if trailers of the east coast can build one
Every time I've gone in and looked the salesman gets all giddy to take my info and then goes right to the ATC website to do the same thing I can do on my computer. I know they sell Nakota as well but they only make horse trailers.

Also been to LBs and they started a build for sundowner...same as I can do online.

I've been looking at Millennial out of Indiana. They always seem to have great prices on enclosed with living quarters
