I'm guessing I should not lose 1-2 cups trans fluid when I remove the D300 from my TF999 trans. Does this mean I need to replace the tranny output shaft seal, or does the pressure from the t-case hold the seal in place? What about trying a speedy sleeve instead if I need to replace the seal?
Also, I checked my TSM but can't find any info. Is this something I can do while the trans is still in the jeep?
