transfer case..

i have a 78 chevy picup 1/2 ton 6800 gross vehicle weight.
not sure which transfer case i have in it,used to be full time 4x4,put the kit in the case and put locking hubs on it .

H loc..if this helps....mabey a 208 case?anyone help me figure out which t-case.i looked at the tag and the top tag is missing,has a serial # eched in the case,and another tag on the bottom..

Most likely a 203, the 205 and 208 were all part time cases.

GM used two full time cases in this era.
Most common is the NP203 but there are also a bunch of Borg_Warner units floating out there as well.

I am not aware of a part time kit for the BW, though anything is possible I suppose.
