Took the wagon to church last Sunday because diesel was cheaper in town. Put 100 gallons in it, moved a dead car for a friend and quickly realized the large threaded fitting for the pump had cracked the weld on the top of the tank. Probably lost 5 gallons before I got home.
Used fuel out of the tank all week and was wondering how to weld it up and live to tell about it. Figured it's diesel so if I get the vapors out it ought to be fine.
My son put his gladiator on the trailer we got some scrap PVC pipe, the wet vac hose and some duct tape and pumped the tank full of emissions legal unicorn fart exhaust which has been burned at least three times and anything useful for burn is trapped in the converters. Then lit the torch and.... Tada.
