I do a lot of things but auto trans ain't one of them. Looking for a shop around the Raleigh area to dyno test a TH400. It's supposedly new but I want to have it checked while it's out.

Bench Testing a Trans will be tough find, last place that I knew did that was I think around Clinton NC but I think that guy sold his shop or retired completely. and that was probably 10 years ago. I asked about doing that to a junkyard 700r4 about 3-4 years ago at a local shop and they said that most shops won't invest in bench test equipment because most customers are bringing them the whole car which makes diagnostics much easier.

If you find one let me know be interesting to at least know a place.

Sounds like you need to plan a trip to Harlan, visit Fritts while youā€™re there šŸ¤˜

Ian Begley from ā€œfull send transmissionā€ did a bench build on my 999/ he is in the same shop as ā€œBARFIELDS transmission in Raeford NC
