Last weekend, I hiked the Badin Lake Trail that goes around Arrowhead, Group Camp, and Badin campgrounds. The amount of trash on the lake side was staggering. There were old campsites with literally bags of trash just piled up. One site even had the trash bag still hanging from the tree. It was way more than I've ever seen on any of the OHV trails. Has anyone else seen the same thing while hiking?

I have been down berkhead(sp) last year and it was clean.

It appeared to be where boaters had pulled up and set up a camp then just left all of their trash there.

While camping on the lake I see it / pic up all I can but yes I think a lot is from boaters. I walk the entire trail while camping.

Work day project? Could we chase it with a boat and a couple people walking the shore?

All the Lakes, have the same problem! Anywhere people can get to, they can bring it in when the contents are Full, but either too drunk, just TRASHY people, or BOTH, to carry out, when empty!:kaioken:

Reverend! (or whatever the heck it is that Gabby Johnson says all the time)
