Treating a Dry Soft Top??

Is there anything you can do for a soft top that is dry and splitting?Mine is starting to come apart near the seams and I didn't know if anyone knew something that would help with that??Thanks in advance!!
 
I use Black Magic tire wet. Wish id been useing it for years. a friend of mine covers his whole jeep in that stuff. But i just use it on my top. Good for the zippers and it waterproofs and keeps the fabric soft. It dont look good for the first 30 min or so but when it soaks in it looses that wet look.
 
Meguiers makes several soft top care products that work well, but the key is to start treating it long before it starts splitting and tearing.
 
Yeah I figured I am fighting an up hill battle,but I want to try to get it to last through the winter.Then I guess I will start looking a new top next year.Thanks for the Info.
 
Wouldn't hurt to treat what you've got to attempt to hold on a little longer. A little heavy duty thread and some seam tape may help keep it together a little better if you can get it to hold.
 
Go own and put some black magic on it. mine was doin the same thing, it looked damn close to new after i treated it with tire shine.
