I'm digging for a Christmas presen tfor Dad. I do have osmething, but want something more.
He's impossible to buy for - pretty much has every tool one could want and never asks for anything... if there's something he wants, he just buys it.
Thing is, while my parents are happily married, he lives in Cary while Mom lives on Lake Gaston, they go back and forth on weekends etc.
So he pretty much lives like a bachelor, works late all the time just b/c he can, (travels a lot too) and I'm pretty sure he lives on fast/take-out food etc - there's never more in the house that PB&J and frozen dinners.
Anyway, in Greensboro there's a place called Let's Dish, where you can go in and pre-make a bunch of meals, so when the time comes, you just throw it in the oven. You can pay a little more and they make them for you. It's really intended for working Moms, but I'm thinking it might be good for him too.
I know there are similar places elsewhere in the state (surely in the Triangle) but can't figure out how to find them.
Does anybody know of one near Cary?
Or - have any other great ideas?
