I'm rewirring my truck with a 12vguy fuse panel this comming weekend. I"m going to use all wire to everything. Right now I have a modified version of the stock harness and it's kinda getto. What guage wire do I need to get.

Battery
winch
propane lockout
cd player
cb
guages
electric fan
ignition

I want to it right this time and zip tie all the wires together and put it in wire loom insted of sticky electrical tape.

These may be a little heavy, but you won't have voltage drop issues. This is along the lines of what I'd want.

Battery 1/0
winch #2 awg
propane lockout unsure
cd player #14 awg
cb #14 awg, #16 will be fine
guages #14, but #16 would work here too
electric fan how big of a fan?
ignition #12

If you're wanting to be more consistent, #14 would work for most things, even the ignition. Maybe the fan, I wouldn't think it'd be an overly large fan for what it's in. #12 would definately be large enough for everything but the battery and winch, just a little more costly then the 14. Are you referring to a kill switch by saying lockout? If so it won't take very big wire at all.

I wouldn't zip tie the wires inside the loom, if you ever needed to pull one out it'd be impossible. Put them in the loom, and ziptie around loom and all, with black ties.

they actually make wire loom tape that only sticks to itself. I can't remember where to get it but it is around. Less sticky than eletrical tape.
