I thought I'd give a shout-out to StudNuts for doing some tube work for me. Did a good job, great guy to work with, I'd recommend him to anybody for tube work.

bring to the playground this weekend....
We'll see. You going to have your buggy up there? I've heard a little bit about it, looking forward to seeing it. Sorry we coudln't meet up last weekend at Uwharrie, Lizzie's phone died and she didn't know either of your numbers to call with my phone. Hopefully the Durham boys will make another trip out there before the season is over. What's the deal with the Devil's Playground?

thanks for the pimp Dan. The yota looks a little better dirty :driver: To bad we didnt meet up at uwharrie, where did yall end up after I saw yall? You missed a good show on kodak, I got challenged to do it in reverse.

hey patrick :flipoff2:

nice! How'd that go? After you guys passed us, we ran Daniel and Dutch John again. We saved Rocky Mtn. Loop for Sunday to try and keep some of our more "ballsy" drivers in one piece untill Sunday. One of my buddies in the mangled/chopped XJ flopped on Kodak, it was a good 'ol time. I'm going to put together a compilation video later on.

Oh yeah, and Aaron raised hell in his stock ass open front and rear yota. He tore ass up Dutch John without any help, and plowed through the big mud hole (i forgot which trail). It was funny as hell to watch. He lost one of his CV axles (piece of shit IFS) on Daniel and was one-wheelin' it up the rest of the time. It was a good weekend.

Make some room in your PM box.

Well just a little "update" - Flopped the truck for the first time at URE this past weekend. When Jon and I talked about the design/construction of the tube bed, I asked him to put the B-hoop outside of the profile of the cab in expectation of a future full exo. He obliged and I'm glad I did, when it flopped, the truck rested on the tube bed rather than the b-pillar of the truck, it saved damage to the cosmetics and integrity of the cab. Although it was a rather gentle flop, it was still a flop. I'm happy to report that there was no bending or twisting. The design and construction of the tube bed is solid. Thanks again, StudNuts.

lol, what luck... weren't we just talking about that on what, thurs. or fri.?

Yeah... and it wasn't even anything impressive, just got too ambitious and flexed out on a rock that was a liiiiiiiiittle too tall. It was pretty funny though, and the only damage was a broken side view mirror and a few new dents. good times :D

Some of the other guys snapped a couple, but it was a night run so doubtfull they'll be worth a damn.

I'd like to go ahead tube up the rest of it, but I've got high steer, dual cases,.front locker, and bigger tarrs higher on the priority list. And hopefully I'll be doing the tube work myself when the time comes. Might not look as pretty as the tube bed, but I'll be able to take credit for it. :D
