Tuning software/hardware packages

I'm getting ever growing inquiries regarding tuning later model gm stuff (say 98-09 model years) and on occasion some ford stuff (same year range ish)

Any recommendations? Cost? Credit per modification? Any open source stuff? Turn off TCS/ABS? Work with vehicles other than just gm ls platforms?
 
HP Tuners has a pretty big supported vehicles list. It's all listed on their website if you want to check it out.

Most stuff is two credits/100 bucks...some stuff is more, but you can also buy unlimited packages for certain vehicle groups if you do them frequently.

However, you usually need some type of scanner that can access the BCM or other modules to change ABS settings. I generally use my buddy's SnapOn Solus.
