Turn signals and dash lights aren't working after having vehicle towed.

The title says most of it. I had the vehicle (93 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.0 Auto w/ 4WD) towed the other night after my idle pulley lost it's bearings and I lost my belt. The tow truck driver wasn't able to get at the rear wheels to tow it at a decent angle, so we popped the car in neutral and tied a clamp from the brake to the shifter to prevent it from popping out and towed it from the front wheels. I fixed the idle pulley and belt the next day, but when I drove it off, I noticed that the turn signals and dash lights weren't coming on. They weren't even attempting to show on the dash. I checked the flashers and they were fine (I was able to get both flashers to work on the hazard lights, but not the turn signals). I checked the fuses and they were fine, I even replaced the fuses anyways as a precaution and it still didn't help. I'm just wondering if anyone else has any kind of experience with this kind of stuff to let me know what i can do to fix this problem. This is my wife's daily driver and she is paranoid about driving without turn signals and dash lights (I don't really blame her). Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, I was able to trace the wire for the turn signals and found a loose connection, they are working fine now. But I still can't figure out the dash lights if someone out there mihgt have some input. I'd appreciate it.

I lost the dash lights my tacoma one night. I had to drive home from Charlotte using my cell phone to see the speedo

I just wish i could figure out what the cause of it is. after tracing the lines and checking the fuses, everything looks fine. This just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

I'd guess another wire pulled loose -- check under the dash again. You said he used some kind of a "clamp" to brace the shifter to the brake....maybe he snagged something else (along with the turn signal wire)???

My wife lost all dash lights the other week in her camry and couldn't figure it out for a while. Then thought maybe the dash dimmer was turned down. After reading the manual on where that swith was shure enough that was it. My two year old turned them off. The switch was hard to find cause it was also the odometer reset button.

That's what I'm thinking. Tracing everything else, all else is good. I doubt that every bulb for the dash and the shifter would have blown simultaneously (without blowing a fuse or something). I'll go retrace the wires and look for a loose one. It's kind of driving me nuts.
