A few days ago I installed a trailer wire adapter on my 02 frontier do that I could tow a popup camper with a 7 way plug. The wire colors didn't match the diagram I found online, so I used a multimeter and determined which blades in the adapter were getting power when I turned on various functions. I then changed the wires around to match up with a diagram I found for a 7 way round plug for trailers. I could still only get some functions to work, left and right turn signal worked, brake lights worked, but the right turn signal had the tail light bulb flashing instead of the turn signal bulb. It was a mess. Anyway the brake light fuse blew after a while, and after 12 hours of towing I turned my truck on after a gas stop and the turn signals/ hazard lights will not work. I checked the turn signal fuse in the cab but it is fine, I even replaced it. Any ideas for why my turn signals will not work? Is there another fuse it could be?
