So the drivers side of my D30 is rotated about 10-15 degrees forward of the passenger side. Some searching around on the internet didnt yield much info on how to fix it. Is it possible to twist the housing back and weld it and how would I go about twisting it?

Replace it, way cheaper to find a new 30 housing....

I agree with Snappy, just get another complete d30 and swap it in. Is it in a TJ, XJ, ZJ? Complete ready to bolt in d30's are $100-150 from the junkyard or the classifieds section on here.

If its a low pinion d30 with 3.07's, I've got one I'll sell you really cheap.

That's a very common axle and should be easy to find. Check your local u-pull-it yard and I'm sure they will have a few. Think my local yard has 3-4 at least.

OP,i live about 8 miles from the Shuffletown metro area.
Be glad to go to LKQ and help you snag one and install it.
I know a little about xj's.
;)
Hit me up if you like, ain't scared to help a brotha out.
Later, Paul...

Yeah D30s are a dime a dozen and real cheap. Just sold mine today with 4:88 gears and a locker with fresh brakes and ball joints for $400. You can find one for $100-$120 all day long. Swapping one in is way easier than trying to fix yours. Specially when you got a guy like Paul offering to help!
