Are there any direct replacement yokes for a Waggy D44 front to get the u-bolt type? I have some other u-bolt yokes but they look like it requires some machining to get the OD correct for the Waggy D44 seal. I am going to be hanging the pinion down low enough I want the u-bolt type.

I would try and run flanges.. they deal much better with rocks.

flanges?

How does the diameter of a flange compare? How about trail fixs? What type of vehicle has a Dana44 with a flange?

The round flange will deal better when drug/rotated across rocks, and you don't have to deal with u-bolts or those garbage flanges ever again.

I have no idea what Dana44's if any ever came with flanges.

I guarantee it won't be the cheapest option though.

I am going to call highangledriveline.com to see what a driveshaft and their D44 flange costs. I will post the results here for reference.

The flange for a Dana 44 is $100-$120 and it makes the driveshaft more expensive too. I am going to find (or buy for $55) the u-bolt type yoke. Tom Woods front driveshaft for shackle reversal YJ is $225 delivered (2 inch tubing).
