Not sure how many state students are on here, but I thought I'd throw this out. This year they had 3200 students sign up for 2900 reserved spots. Bobby Mills -the douche that he is- has changed the ticketing to only 1450 tickets released to camp out participants, and 1450 released to lottery members a week before the game that didn't show up to camp out.
There is going to be a protest at Holliday Hall at 3pm tomorrow to show our disgust with this change.

Bobby, in case we don't talk before then, I'll see you tonight at the Chef's Challenge. I've talked with Dick Christy again and based on your response, I think the best outcome is to tell SG that 1500 tickets will be allocated through campout and the remainder (approx 1400) will be distributed through the normal system. This will continue the agreement that we have used in past years. See you tonight.

Dr. Stafford,
I totally agree with you. Zach Adams and I warned the Committee about this decision and explained the necessity to only allow 2,500 students at camp out but they did not understand our reasoning. Hopefully everything works out.

I'm very concerned about this decision. It is inconsistent with the
agreement that has been used for the past several years to equally
divide available student tickets between campers and non campers.
Students who are not able to campout, or who have no desire to do so,
will be completely eliminated from consideration under this decision.
There will be a lot of very angry students who have assumed that they
will have a chance for a ticket through the normal distribution process.
From my perspective, this is a very bad decision.

FYI,
Student Government decided this afternoon to distribute all available
tickets through campout only. The online system was scheduled to take
requests for the game from the general student body so the ticket
office
has disabled that feature.
My understanding is that over 3000 students have signed up for camp
out
w/ less than 2900 tickets available. Student government notified our
ticket staff around lunch today that they will 'weed' this number down
to the quantity available.
Please let me know if you have questions."
