ok so ive decided to go a different route with my suspension. i would like to find some orvis upcountry springs for my 98 zj i6. i have read that they sit about 1 inch higher then stock. what little i have found out was that the v8 upcountry springs will be alot stiffer and give a better ride quality. I would assume this is true due to the extra weight but i want to see if anyone knows if this is true or can shed some light. i plan on putting on a 2inch BB with it and call it a day. i also hear that the upcountry springs were from 95-97. were can i find some without going to the dealer? any ideas or thoughts on this project?

let me get this straight-you want to run upcountry springs(+1") with a 2" spacer, for a total of 3" over. you may want to think about a front/rear swap(use your original front springs in the rear for 3") and buy new 3" lift springs for the front. i think it would be more cost friendly; i also happen to prefer spring replacement with only a spring over using spacers-more durablity, better flex and ride quality.

At 3 inches you will need adj track bars and adj lowers to do it right.

i get what you saying but ive read up on some of the people that have done it and i already had the BB lift waiting to be installed with skyjacker shocks. I heard they give better ride quality and you can find them cheap. will end up saving money since i have most the stuff already

ya i was planing on upgrading the suspension along with it.
just wanted to know if anyone on here has some insight on the upcountry springs.....would the v8 really give a better ride then the i6?

Not really. The easy lift is 3.5 front to rear with adj lowers and track bars. Check out ironman4x4fab for track bars and arms man. Andy makes some killer stuff!
