Had to take Pam to the ER after work on 1/31 for chest pains. After bloodwork came back and after a bunch of other tests she has had a bad heart attack and should be going into the heart cath lab at the front of the line at around 6:00 AM. Heart Dr is saying there’s a good chance of open heart surgery depending on what the heart cath finds in the morning.

Well still waiting for her to go into the cath lab. Finally got her pain under control about 4:00 am and got some rest between all the poking and prodding

Thank the Lord she went to the hospital. Most of us dudes would have stayed home and probably died. Hopefully is just a stint or something simple.

Pam just got out of the heart cath. She has 100% blockage on the left ventricle. At that point they stopped the procedure and sending her for a MRI of her heart to be sure the left side of her heart is still alive. One they determine that they may be able to place a balloon and stint or a bypass is the other option. If tissue is not alive then be treated with medication and hope for the best.
