URE 10/15

Anyone up for a day trip to URE. I live in G-boro and I'm just looking for a little rock crawling fix. It's been a little over a month since I was in Tellico last and I'm getting the itch again. I'm looking to run the "extream" trails there and just spend a good afternoon with some people. I don't wheel alone, so I'm looking for some company. It's supposed to be good weather this weekend and I'd liek to get out in enjoy the fall feeling a bit. Post up if you think you'd like to go.:bounce:

If anyone is wondering I drive a 97 4Runner with enough junk to get me into plenty of trouble.
 
If you could hold off like 3 more weekends I would lol.
Truck won't be done until then, the way its looking.

I live in Greensboro and am heading down Friday evening to camp. Im in a stock frontier and will have a 78 f150 and jeep with me. We are planning on trying everything but daniel. Not sure what time we are heading down, probably around 7 mabye earlier and most likely will be camping on rocky mtn loop, or wherever we can find a spot.

They will probably start rolling in Thursday. I will be coming on Friday evening and staying at Arrowhead. The event is held at Group Camp. Most will camp there. There was close to 200 rigs at the spring event but i doubt that there will be as many at this one.
 
Hmm, makes me wonder if I even want to try and hit the trails with traffic like that.

I never really hit URE for more than a day, I drive the hard stuff a couple times through and try different lines, then head home. I might jsut come down alone, the traffic might be to my advantage. Nissian11, PM, I'll PM you if I paln on coming and maybe we can meet up at the Outpost Sunday morning and hit some of the fun stuff.
 
You know it can, but if you need another proving too we'll find the time and go break something, oh wait that right I drive a Toyota, they DON'T break.................................as I type this I'm knock on wood. lol

I can't next weekend that is my rotation on sechdual, but we'll find a way to get down there before it closes.:driver:
 
I'll make some calls tomorrow and see if I can find a female co-pilot for the day, it shouldn't be to hard. If I do I'll prolly make my way down there early Sateurday morning. What time were you looking at getting up and hitting the trails?
 
Ill probably be up around 8 and then Ill wake my buddies up and we'll hit the trails. I hope Ill have a female co-pilot as well, shes gona let me know tomorrow whether to come pick her up or not. We are gona have to be careful about not getting stuck behind a big group of zukis.
 
I'm gonna try and talk her into leaving tonight, that way we can meet yall and leave out early. Just in case she doesn't go for that, I'll just leave here around 7-7:30 or so. Even if we don't find you and your crew I think there will be plenty of support, I just rather not be stuck in a huge group of Zuki's.
 
Yeah I wish I could tell you exactly where we will be camping but Ive got no idea what will be available with this Zuwharrie group. Just look for a big white f150, a silver frontier and hopefully a white jeep will be with us.
 
We just got back. It was cold friday night and we had an awesome time wheeling today. Lots of zukis out there and a few spots were still muddy. I also "customized" the driver side running board to match the passenger side. :)
 
yea i would say so the running board is now a slider, clinch and twist. Oh yea my ol big white ford that you call a heap did pretty well this weekend wouldnt you say?????
