this could be really interesting!
 
Whats gonna suck..is if it rains on at like lunch time friday, or sat...During racing.
Folks will be at a disadvantage somehow....Oh well..thats the way it goes. The racing will continue and the times will still be official. There is no rain date and wheelers DONT get rained out anyway.

Just thought I would go ahead and address this.
 
not seeing the disadvantage Dylan, lol. what am i missing. Didnt hurt woodstock. Maybe this will turn into mudstock!
 
if someone runs in the dry and then someone im the same class has to run in the rain the one that runs in the dry will have a advantage but the one that runs in the rain has more run
 
My preference would be for an absolute DELUGE from 9 am 'til just about Noon Friday - then quit just before starting.
that way it will be REALLY FUN but don't have to actually drive in the rain.
 
Maybe you guys are used to looking at different forecasts than I am, but since when do you believe ANY weather forecast this far out? They can't tell you with any certainty if it'll rain tomorrow or not, much less a week away. It's too early to be the least bit concerned with that right now.
 
I went out and did a blood sacrifice to the rain gods and the way it should pan out is no rain on friday till I make it past Kodak rock and then a pure ole frog drowning deluge.Since I'm driving a "STOCK" vehicle with a "STOCK" body on "STOCK" axles with NO lockers,that is my way of getting a more evening of the field.

x2, everytime I look at the weather there is a chance of rain so I just assume that may rain or it may not every day.
 
I am liking the encourage them part of that statement!! Don't girls realize its just like going to a spa and getting a mud bath except you don't have to pay for this one.

yeah all that says is that there's a 60% chance it won't rain. supposed to rain today, but we'll see...
 
a little sprinkle on friday would be nice to keep the dust down for saturday. But I'd prefer not to 4-wheel drift into a tree if I can avoid it..
