Went up for the 4x4cross race last weekend. What a great time. Here's a couple poser shots I got on the trails and there at the campground. Thanks to all that made it happen, can't wait to come back.

Never trust the e-brake. I pulled up that one hill on Rocky Mount before you get to Kodak and we get out to check out the rocks. Before I know it the truck takes off backwards, I had it in park and the e-brake on. Damn thing went about 150 ft or more, bouncing off the walls, and just about rolled over. Scared the :poop: out of me.

We were so lucky that no one got hurt and the damage to the truck was only minor. Could've been much worse. Thanks to the folks in the red Rubicon for their concern and help.

Forgive the camera man. I guess he figured a crotch shot was better then my truck rolling away and me trying to stop it. lol

We were so lucky that this is all that happened.

What failed in the trans?
Does park work now?

Not really sure what happened. You could hear the tranny clicking all the way down. But everything is still working fine so far. The ebrake cables were good and so was everything else as best I could tell.

It's almost like the ebrake let loose and the tranny couldn't hold the truck on that steep of a hill.

We saw you on Slab Pile sometime this weekend. I was in the gay-ass purplish blue Suzuki X-90 (looks like a Honda Del Sol on steroids) that I was ramming over the big ass rock on Slab Pile. My friend Zach was with me and commented that it was a clean Ranger. He's a Ranger lover.

Sorry to hear about your truck.

Wow, that could have been real bad.......
That sure is a good picture of the green XJ and the tan WJ. Wish I had a JEEP like that.

Glad you are ok. My dad had a cousin that got killed years ago by a ford truck that was running and had the tranny in park. It slipped out of park into reverse and ran over his cousin. Back in the day, ford had a problem with their auto tranny's staying in park. To this day, my dad doesn't trust any car in park while it is running.

I saw your ranger this last weekend, it looks great. I'm the guy with the explorer.

Thanks, that ones nice Expo you got. I got a video of you coming down the entrance to Falls Dam. LMAO at that Titan that was with you.

This looks just like my truck and i was at that event so it must be. Funny I ran across this?!?!

You've got one badass Yota, love the bumpers. I saw you at the Whataburger not too long ago.

Its funny I remember the ranger from whataburger and i remember the ranger from the uwharrie event and im just now putting the two together. I built the bumpers you see after many hours of strenuous thought. I sold the spare tire carrier I had to the taco with long travel there. You got any good places to wheel around mooresville?
