URE May 20th-23rd

Gonna go to Uwharrie Thursday and stay until Sunday maybe longer. I don't start my new job until June 7th so I can stay until then if I want.
Is anyone else gonna be up there during this time and want to try and link up? We are gonna stay in primitive camping at Art Lilly Area.

i plan on being there on saturday. ill be in a lime green toyota pickup along with a black wrangler and possibly a wagoneer. so if you see us on the trail flag us down and say hey.

I will do that. I will be taking my GF's parents with me and they have never been. They are super excited too. Her dad sounded like a little kid talking about going.

I will be in a big white cherokee on 38's

Thanks to Chris, Burrell, Terry, JC, and the others for plugging the work day in this thread. I was sick to the point my throat was almost swollen shut earlier in the week so I haven't been able to get on here. But yes there will be free hotdogs, and we are working on stickers for the workday this Saturday. Meet up will be at the Hunt Camp at 9am, as I think was mentioned.

@LRO: I actually have wheeled with a buddy of yours Dante that used to have a newer Range. He has a Range Classic now, and I saw he will be out there too. You guys are always more than welcome to participate in the work day.

I am up in the air right now, which I know isn't a good thing. I actually had to call out of work (1st time in only god knows how long) so I may end up working Saturday. But lets hope I don't have to so I can make it up there.

I do not have a radio, so let me know where and when to meet up, as far trails go, I'm up for whatever, I've done everything there and I'll probly let my friend drive most of the day, I'll probly only drive on Daniel and Kodak

We just camped near Art Lilly last weekend.. man, that mud hole is getting deep!! it is a good 12 to 15 feet deep now. The camping site was ok it was nice to be close to the mud hole and watch people play in it!!

Eli, this is Dante

Well just shows how much I have been out of it the last couple days. I hadn't seen a picture of your Classic yet. I was a little off and confused your LRO site with RoverTYM.

Anyway I hope it doesn't rain. I am supposed to be on Daniel at least part of the day, and Daniel isn't a trail you want to get stuck on when it rains. Especially on the parking lot side of Daniel or when you are out talking/surveying stuff on the trail.

Well we broke Friday night and had to leave early. Big thanks to the Highschool kids who gave me a lift back to my truck. I owe them one for that. Here's a couple of pics we took. I will post the vids later. Big thanks to my GF cause she took pics and loves to wheel as much as I do if not more.
