Urgent! need dirtbikes/quads for haiti relief!

hey all,
i am leaving for miami on friday to get on a boat headed to haiti loaded with relief supplies. the people in charge have asked if i can find 2 enduro type dirt bikes or utility quads to bring with us as the roads are in shambles and a dirtbike/atv is often the best way to get around down there. i have taken several trips to haiti in the past to do aid work so i know what things look like down there. my mom was also on the ground when the earthquake struck so i have first hand knowledge of the situation right now. if you have anything that will fit the bill please let me know, obviously donations are much appreciated but i will purchase if need be. you can call me at 919 235 7370, email me at jonmetty@gmail.com or PM me on here. feel free to cross post this wherever you think it will be heard.

i commend you for going. i think thats a great thing to do. but taking a quad to haiti is a good way to get a quad stolen in haiti. last week it might have been fine, but this week as the situation gets more and more desperate people are going to do some.....unethical things.

imsure theres some that will see the "donation" of a quad as no big deal though. im just saying...careful where you park them.

i understand your concern, but im not shooting from the hip here. i have been to haiti multiple times and there are dirtbikes and quads all over the place being used to haul people and supplies. also, i am in contact with people on the ground and while the situation in cite soleil is bad, most of the country is not nearly as violent as the media is making it out to be. i do not believe that a quad or dirtbike will get stolen, and i believe that i have legitimate information to support that.

Ive got 2 dirtbikes, 99 xr400. 96 xr250. Ive got 1400 in the 400 and 1200 in the 250, both run good, almost new tires, reliable, call me if interested, 336-817-7289
