USB Barcode Scanner need to borrow?

I have to use one of these to collect a bunch of barcodes at a clients on Friday. I was wondering if anyone in the Triad area happened to have one they use/could let me borrow for a day or two this week?

I can buy one, but hate to spend $150-200 for a one day project.

I'm down in Sanford, but...

I got a couple of barcode scanners, you can use one, but it is AT passthru, I use them with ps/2 adapters. If it'll work in your case (i.e., it won't if all you have is a laptop that has no ps/2 kbd/mse port), you are welcome to it.

It's a UFO Scan pistol-grip LED model UF-101.



I just picked a random barcode that's on a Dell CDRW drive on my desk....

Thx, yeah laptop is usb only... went ahead and bought one off guy on ebay/located in Raleigh, should be here today.

Thx for the offer tho, if I had been less "last minute" I might have tried to figure it out anyway with usb adapters..
