i am doing a leaf conversion on the front of my cherokee and i wanted to use yj front leafs but i actually have some rear yj lift springs at my house and wondering if it would be at all possible to use them. any input would be appreciated on this

what about stock front yota leafs, my buddy said he would give them to me for free

just curious but why a leaf conversion... going full widths?

Also, I think that YJ rear leafs would extermely soft for the front of an XJ.. You'll probably kill them really quick...

Free is good :). I'd run 'em man. Just build a solid xmember up front, decide on your wheelbase..locate your axle and burn in your hangers. You can always add/remove leaves later if they don't work like you want 'em too.

actually i think that the 5 leaf rear packs have a higher spring rate then the front 4 leaf pack... they prob should work well...

the yotas are wider i think (2.75") but theyd prob work too if u could mount

yeah well the yj rear springs i have are fabtech 3.5" lift springs that were sent to my house by mistake like 3 years ago and i could remove one of the leafs to make it sit a little lower.

yes i am going full widths and the axle will bolt up rather than having to fab up or buy brackets. so i guess it will come down to which will flex better and give me the ride hight that i am looking for
