Anyone going to Uwharrie, Friday April 1st? I've got 1/2 day of carryover vacation that I am suppose to use by the end of March, but my boss will let me take it Friday, or next week. I am considering taking Friday off and hitting Uwharrie, and looking to see if anyone else is going that I could join up with.
 
man I would love to go with ya but my girls bday is that weekend looks like i will have to wait lol
 
was wondering if anyone was going.......with all the rain expectedc tonight, tomorrow, and CHANCE friday...I just wonder how nasty it'll be

I'm thinking it will be nice and difficult, lol.

Hell I may just park the truck and trailer at Daniel and head up THAT way :lol:

LOL, I've ridden a dirt bike there during a thunderstorm many many years ago. I wouldn't go Friday on a bike.
 
I'm gonna have to build my engine in my rig so I'm not going anywhere for a few weeks. I think there are some guys from up here in WNC headed that way though.
 
Uwharrie is fun Dry. Uwharrie is awsome when its muddy!! Cant go though putting turbo tracker engine in Rock lizard (sammi).....ketch the next one. Should be fun though...

Right now it looks like just John and myself. I'm sure we will run into a few others. The weather looks perfect for some trail riding tomorrow.
 
How crazy will it be tomorrow? I know it is always packed on opening weekend, just didn't know what it was like on opening Friday.

yeah we're rolling out early and going to be down there around 9:30am. I'm not sure what we plan on riding but I'm sure the more the merrier. we'll have a bronco, a ranger, an old cherokee, a tubed out toyota and maybe some others. I'll keep my CB on channel 8.

I've got an open seat, but am a little unsure of what time I am going to make it down there. I have to leave by 3:30pm at the latest too which sucks. Right now I am thinking I will be there by 9am, but that could get blown back. I think I've got a u-joint going out on one of my driveshafts that I need to tend to either tonight or first thing in the morning. John probably won't be there until 10-11 he says. I'll shoot you a pm with my phone number.

Going to be there tomorrow, Friday? I don't have a CB in my Samurai. Where are you guys parking and dropping ramp?

Whats up Nick!!
I will be camping along Falls Dam near the big mud hole if you want to stop by tomorrow. Will be up around 9-10am to set up camp. I dont think you have seen the Toad since I chopped it and painted it black & white. I will be camping in a truck camper on the back of a white Silverado.
Looks to be a KILLER weekend!!:bounce2:

I'm thinking about headin down sat for a day trip. Gonna ride there with the top and doors off the yota. Might end up campin dont know yet.
 
Some of us from Fort Bragg are coming up Friday Night and leave Sunday AM

Chris, it's been a long time. When I saw that SN I wondered if it was you. You'll get to see my pile too. It's been through some "minor" changes. LOL!! I'll see you down there.

There's 4 or 5 of us coming over from Raleigh ...should be at the outpost about 9:30

I'm loaded up, and will be at the outpost around 9am hopefully. I'll be driving a black Dodge Ram pulling a beat up white Samurai.
 
Sorry we missed ya drkelly....I think we rolled by your tow rig about 9:40 at the daniel trailhead. Hope yall had a good day.

yeh, we had a great day. We were just a few minutes ahead of you. I think we started up Daniel about 9:15 or so.
