This solenoid on the truck is broken. It is a 1995 Ford F350 7.3 L turbo diesel. What is it so I can get one and put it on. Everything seems to work so I don't even know what it does.

Low vacuum warning switch. Apparently unobtanium now. Plug it and run it so you do not have a vacuum leak messing up your brakes, you could try fixing it with some careful work tapping/installing/sealing a threaded nipple to received that vacuum hose.

My 14 year old has been diligently resea4ching, and came up with the same information. We are going to try to repair it, and see what happens.

Old trucks are fun.
